The last pair of GR dunks I snatched up were the Porcelains. Now, we go classy with the Nike SB Dunk High Baroque Brown.
The shoes get their nickname from the colorway.
These feature a leather tongue tag with embossed text and otherwise not much else. The brown parts of the sneakers do show off some contrast stitching. They are definitely going with a “dressy” vibe with these. The shoes ship with waxed flat black laces and standard black SB laces.
These GRs are very strong! They have a nice fall colorway and good materials for a shoe that is not a quickstrike or collab or even one with a backstory of any sort. I’ll be glad to get some wears out of these!
How Are The Materials?
We get a nice thick canvas on the panels, including the top of the toebox and tongue. We also get a very nice leather on the brown parts of the shoe. Finishing up, there’s a leather with an even softer texture on the swoosh. Overall, the materials have an upscale look and surprising quality for a general release. These definitely aren’t beating out the dunks of old, but they do well enough to put off a quality vibe.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike SB Dunk High Baroque Brown are comfortable for me at a half size up. Either get true size and break them in, or do what I do, bypass the pinky rub and get a half size up. At the larger size, while they fit a little roomy, the pain is not there and these are actually comfy right out of the box with no break in time.
